2.1. Shortened Links
This section covers the process of creating, customizing, and analyzing shortened URLs using DJAZ.
2.1.1. Creating Shortened Links
This guide walks you through creating shortened URLs with DJAZ for easy sharing and tracking.
Introduction:
Shortened links are essential for making long URLs more manageable and shareable. DJAZ makes it easy to create and customize shortened links.
Steps:
Navigate to the Shortened Links Section:
From your DJAZ dashboard, click on Shortened Links in the left-hand menu.
Click the Create Link Button:
Locate and click the button labeled Create Link.
Enter the Destination URL:
In the Destination URL field, paste the full, original URL that you want to shorten. This is the web page you want people to visit when they click your shortened link.
Customize the Short URL (Optional):
You can customize the Short URL field to create a memorable link. Leave it blank to have DJAZ generate a random one. Remember that the custom Short URL must be unique.
Advanced Settings (Optional):
Click the Advanced section to reveal additional options. This is usually a collapsible area where you can configure app linking, scheduling, and more.
Click the Update Button:
After entering your settings, click the Update button, often a primary call to action at the bottom of the form.
Copy and Share Your Shortened Link:
Your shortened link is now ready! It will be displayed on the Shortened Links page. Click the Copy icon, which resembles a clipboard, next to the link to copy it for sharing. The short URL and related options will be visible at this stage.

Tips:
Use custom back-halves to make your links more memorable and trustworthy.

2.1.2. Customizing Shortened Links (Back-half, Domain)
This guide explains how to customize the back-half and domain of your shortened links in DJAZ.
Introduction:
Customizing your shortened links allows you to create more memorable and brand-aligned URLs. DJAZ provides options to customize both the back-half (the part after the slash) and the domain of your links.
Customizing the Back-Half:
Follow steps 1-3 of 2.1.1 to reach the Create Shortened Link interface.
Find the Short URL field.
Specify your preferred short URL in that field.
Click Create to generate your short url.
Important:
Back-halves must be unique within the selected domain.
Avoid using special characters or spaces in your back-halves.
Customizing the Domain (Using a Custom Domain):
DJAZ offers a few predefined domains. If you have connected your custom domain, you can also use it when shortening links.
Navigate to the Create Link page.
Look for a dropdown to select the domain.
Choose your custom domain from the list.
Click Create to generate your short url
Note: To use a custom domain, you must first connect it to your DJAZ account. See the section on Custom Domains for instructions.

Accessing Advanced Settings:
Navigate to the Shortened Links Section:
From your DJAZ dashboard, click on Shortened Links in the left-hand menu.
Select a Link or Create a New One:
Click on an existing link to edit it, or create a new link.
Expand the Advanced Section:
Click the Advanced section header to reveal the available options.
Advanced Settings Options:
Scheduling:
Enable Scheduling: Toggle this option to schedule the short link for a specific time window.
Start Date/Time: Set the date and time when the link should become active.
End Date/Time: Set the date and time when the link should expire.
Targeting
Enable Targeting: Toggle this option to target people depending on location or device.
Country Targeting: Specify what country people should see your short link.
Device Targeting: Specify what devices people should see your short link.
A/B Rotation (A/B Testing):
Enable Rotation: Toggle this option to enable A/B rotation, directing traffic to different URLs based on a percentage split.
Add New Rotation URL: Click this button to add a new destination URL to the rotation.
Weight: Enter the percentage of traffic that should be directed to each URL. The total weight should equal 100%.
Tips:
Use scheduling to align your links with specific promotional periods.
Targeting can help you optimize your campaigns by directing users to content that is relevant to their location or device.
A/B rotation is a powerful way to test different landing pages and optimize your conversion rates.

Accessing Link Analytics:
Navigate to the Shortened Links Section:
From your DJAZ dashboard, click on Shortened Links in the left-hand menu.
Select a Link:
Find the link you want to analyze in the list of shortened links.
View Analytics:
Click on the link's entry or find and click a statistics icon, to view the analytics dashboard for that link.
Key Analytics Metrics:
Total Clicks: The total number of times your link has been clicked.
Top Countries:
A breakdown of clicks by country.
Top Referrers:
The websites or platforms sending traffic to your link.
Devices:
Metrics on the device and operation systems used by clickers, so you can see if mobile/desktop or iOS/Android clicks are dominant.
Using Analytics to Optimize Your Campaigns:
Identify Your Target Audience: Use country and referrer data to understand where your audience is coming from.
Optimize for Mobile: Use device data to ensure your landing pages are optimized for mobile users.

2.2. Bio Links (Biolink Pages)
Bio Links allow you to create a single page showcasing multiple links to your social media profiles, websites, and important content.
2.2.1. Creating a Bio Link Page

Bio Link pages are a versatile way to share multiple links with your audience from a single, easy-to-remember URL.
Steps
Navigate to the Bio Links Section
From your DJAZ dashboard, click on Bio Links in the left-hand menu.
Click the Create Bio Link Button
Locate and click the button or option labeled Create Bio Link.
Enter a Bio Link Page Title
Enter a title for your Bio Link page. This could be your name, brand name, or a descriptive title.
Customize Your Bio Link URL (Optional)
You can customize the URL for your Bio Link page. If you do not customize it, a random URL will be assigned. The URL must be unique on the platform.
Click the Create Button
After you've selected your URL, click on the "Create" button.
Tips
Use a custom URL for your Bio Link page that is easy to remember and share.
Make sure your title is descriptive and reflects the content of your Bio Link page.
2.2.2. Adding and Customizing Blocks (Links, Images, Text, etc.)
Add and customize the links, images, and content for your newly made Biolink page.

Once your biolink is generated, you can then customize it with different blocks.
Steps
Find the Bio Link Page you wish to edit.
Click Edit on selected Biolink
Select Add Block
From the available options select what you want to add to your page.
Tips
Create a design that is simple and easy to navigate.
Make sure your content is relevant to your audience.
2.2.3. Designing Your Bio Link Page (Themes, Colors, Branding)

Steps
Navigate to the Bio Link Page
From your DJAZ dashboard, click on Bio Links in the left-hand menu.
Select a Link
Select a Link to start designing it.
Go in the Customizations and Branding Tab.
Find the customization tab, and start personalizing you Biolink page, by changing the appearance of the buttons, or back ground color, for example.
Tips
Use colors and imagery that are consistent with your brand.
Make sure your design is visually appealing and easy to navigate.
2.2.4. Managing Bio Link Page Settings (SEO, Password Protection)
Configure the settings for your Bio Link to be more suited to your specific needs.

Steps
Navigate to the Bio Links Section
From your DJAZ dashboard, click on Bio Links in the left-hand menu.
Select a Link
Find the link you want to manage.
Find the general settings
The general settings are usually the basic settings of all Biolink

To select a password to your page, and to enable it, just slide the slider.

2.3 File Links
Use File links to create safe access and to track downloads from them.
2.3.1 Creating File Links
Make a File Link now.

Steps
Find the File links option in the Dashboard
After Loggin, navigate to your dashboard and click on File Links.
Upload your File
Now you can select your file from you computer.
Custom URL (Optional)
Insert the Short URL to give it a more personalized feel
Click the Create button
After you upload your file, you can click the create button.
Tips
Choose something that is easy to remember.
Upload only safe to distribute files, that do not break any laws.
2.3.2 Managing and Tracking File Links
Manage and track the downloads for a file.
Introduction
After creating file links, you can manage them, to change the short URL or delete them, as well as check how many downloads each link has.
Steps
Find the File links option in the Dashboard
After Loggin, navigate to your dashboard and click on File Links.
View all you File Links
Find the file to customize by scrolling down the list
Customize your File Link
From here you can view download count, customize its name or change the destination.
Tips
You can sort the file links by number of clicks.

Create dynamic digital contact cards, that are tracked and also downloadable.

Steps
Navigate to the Dashboard and find VCard Links.
After logging in, navigate to the dashboard and select VCard Links from the options.
Enter information about you.
Enter information about your self, like name, email, and all other details.
Customize Short URL (Optional)
Personalize it with a Short URL to be more recognizable
Create the Link
Now click create to generate the link.
Tips
Complete all information, this gives a professional feel.
2.4.2 Sharing Your Digital Contact Card
Easily share your digital contact and info in a simple touch of a button.

vCard, is now generated, this provides a fast way to people saving your contacts, with a touch of a button
Steps
Navigate to the Dashboard
After logging in, find the dashboard.
Click on the copy icon
Find the copy icon to generate your vCard.
Share everywhere, that you can.
Share the link with the others.
Tips
Add it to the end of an email for sharing.

After login, from the left menu click Event Links.
Start creating an event
Fill the title for the short link.
Location
Fill in where the event will be happening.
Description
Describe in a short text the event.
Start and End Date
Fill in the time and end date for the event.
Reminder
Customize the reminder for the event.
Tips
Make sure to specify important information for the event.

Upload your website files and we will host them for you.
Steps
From the dashboard, select Static sites
After login, from the left menu click Static Sites.
From the upload form, select Upload Your Site.
Select the ZIP file.
Customize the short URL (Optional)
From the available settings, personalize the Short URL.
Click Create to Upload the website
Click to the create button.
Tips
Make sure that you have the necessary files in the Zip folder.
